Among the lush gardens and outstanding scenery of the lowest point on planet Earth, Movenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea launched their very First Street Food Festival. The event taking place every Thursday till November the 13th this year allows the resort’s visitors to indulge the tastes of the world cuisine prepared by award-winning chefs of the internationally renowned resort and spa.
The Village Square is brought alive with the live entertainment and music, live cooking stations and the aromas of freshly prepared dishes. Ranging from Jordanian, Lebanese, Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisines the chefs makes sure to please the palates of all the international and local visitors that attend this food festival. Mr. Peter Hoesli, General Manager of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea and Regional Manager Jordan explained that this great culinary experience is the cherry on top, while visitors will experience the beautiful weather and astonishing views at the Dead Sea at this very specific time of the year.
With the great variety of food served at the festival, one can’t decide where to start! The menu spreads from oriental mezzes and traditional salads, freshly grilled chicken and kebabs to tastes from Asia with live cooking stations of the Indian and Chinese cuisines with food cooked to perfection with one’s choice of an array of fresh ingredients. The night does not end without having a bite of the oriental sweets and international soiree-style desserts for a night not to be missed at one of destination’s best resorts!
